The CRM-ISM Scientific Coordination Pole at UQAM provides members of the Centre de recherches mathématiques who are based in downtown Montreal with easy access to the services of the CRM and the Institut des Sciences Mathématiques. Its mission is also to support CIRGET and LACIM, the two CRM laboratories based at UQAM.

The Pole organizes many scientific activities in downtown Montreal at the Complexe des sciences de l’UQAM and welcomes a large number of visitors and postdocs from abroad. The Pole is also home to the ISM, a consortium of eight Quebec universities whose mission is training and collaboration in the mathematical sciences.
